Harry Gilbert is a BAFTA Breakthrough 2024 Casting Director specialising in Film, TV and Theatre.

As Casting Director, his first short LIONS was BIFA nominated and won the prestigious Unifrance Grand Prize in 2023 at Cannes. G’WED, his first TV show was released in spring 2024 becoming the most successful launch of a comedy series across all ITV channels since 2020. In September 2024, his first feature film REAWAKENING starring Jared Harris, Juliet Stevenson and Erin Doherty was released nationwide to critical acclaim.

Harry was born and raised in East London and trained as an actor at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama before moving into the world of Casting in 2019 assisting Sarah Trevis, who worked for many years alongside the legendary and BAFTA winning Mary Selway. He worked as assistant to Sarah, Jenny Duffy and Jeremy Zimmerman across a number of projects before becoming associate to Sarah Trevis in 2022, alongside developing his own solo projects.
